GRAMMAR

  











Grammar  : is the science that teaches us how to speak, to read, and to write in English correctly.

Part of speech
The words in English language are grouped into parts of speech according to their meaning and their functions. There are eight part of speech:

1.       NOUN
The word that used for naming some persons, animals, places, and things.
*Example: I buy book.
2.       PRONOUN
The word that used instead af noun.
*Example: She goes to school.
3.       VERB
The word that used for telling
an action or state of persons and things.
*Example: - Susi is a student.
                     - Ghina studies grammar.
4.       ADVERB
The word that used for qualifying the meaning of verb, adjective or other adverb.
*Example: - Andi runs quickly.
                    - Rina goes to school in the morning.
5.       ADJECTIVE
The word that used to qualify noun or pronoun.
*Example: Hani is a diligent girl.
6.       PREPOSITION
The word that placed before noun or pronoun to show it relationship to some other word in a sentence. (to, with, on, for, in, beside, after,etc.)
*Example: - They go to school.
                    - Ina cuts meat with knife.
7.       CONJUNCTION
The word that used to join or to connect one word to another word or one sentence to another sentence. (and, by, but, because, before, or, otherwise, etc.)
*Example: Nancy and Nindi are playing dolls.
8.       INTERJECTION
The word that put into a sentence to express a sudden feeling of mind or emotion.
*Example: “Oh my god, forgive me!”
